Ordering Process
(1) View Our Selection of Products
You can view a product by using the category boxes on the left hand side of the home page. Each product has a photo displayed, with its price underneath. All items displayed are in stock and available to buy.
If you see a product that interests you, click onto the product and you will then be able to view the product in more detail - a full description of the product.
(2) I’ve Seen A Product I Wish To Buy
If you wish to buy a product, just press the ‘Add To Cart’ button.
You can continue shopping for more products by using the category headings on the left hand side of the page and follow the same process as above or proceed to the checkout and pay for the item you have selected.
(3) Check Out & Pay
Once you are satisfied with your product(s) and delivery option, press the ‘Checkout’ button. You can review your order here, then complete your personal and payment details and press the ‘Submit’ button at the bottom of the page.
You must now enter the address that you would like your order to be delivered to (shipping address). We are happy to deliver to a work address if this is more convenient for you.
*** Please Note: You must also enter the address where your debit / credit card statements are sent to (this is to prevent fraudulent purchases from our site). The billing address and phone number that you enter will be checked with your card issuing company *** Please be assured that the land-line you enter will NOT be used for marketing purposes but for card authorisation checking purposes only. If you do not have a land-line, please enter an alternative contact phone number (work or mobile).
Follow the payment instructions to submit your debit /credit card details.
Once your payment has been authorised, the value of your order will be ‘shadowed’. i.e. the amount is reserved on your debit / credit card. When we despatch your order, we notify your card company that your order has been despatched and only then will the payment be taken from your card. If for whatever reason your order is not despatched, the shadow amount will automatically be cancelled after 10 days.
(4) Email & Postal Confirmations
Once you have submitted your order, you will receive the following emails:
• Order Confirmation – order date, product details, order amount etc
• Payment Confirmation – Protx (a leading payment provider) will process your card payment and confirm whether payment has been authorised
• Despatch Confirmation – swiftcatering.co.uk will send you an email informing you what day your order will be despatched

DO I HAVE TO ORDER ONLINE?
Ordering online is the safest and most secure method of paying, however you may call us on 01268 491579 and your order may be taken there.
IS IT SAFE TO PAY BY DEBIT / CREDIT CARD ON THIS SITE?

The Protx payment system uses a combination of established and innovative techniques to ensure the security and integrity of all sensitive data. Protx’s internet facing web servers are certified by Verisign, this ensures that no third parties can impersonate Protx to obtain secure information.
The transfer of the transaction details from swiftcatering.co.uk to Protx is encrypted and digitally-signed. This ensures that the information passed is secure and tamper-proof.
Any communication between the customer and Protx is encrypted to the maximum strength. The card issuing company also protects the customer from fraudulent use of their card when buying on the internet.
All data stored on Protx systems is held on encrypted and highly secured databases. Protx are regularly audited by Visa and Mastercard to ensure that their systems conform to the latest security standards.
WHEN WILL I BE CHARGED?
Once at the billing page and you submit your order, our systems will immediately contact your bank or card issuer for authorisation to take payment for your order.
If payment is authorised, you will receive an email confirming your order. Swiftcatering.co.uk only takes the payment of your order on the day your order is despatched. This way customers can feel completely confident that money is only taken on the day their order is sent out and not beforehand.
In the unlikely event of a query with your order and payment has already been authorised, we will of course issue a full refund back to your card if we are unable to resolve the query and cannot despatch your order. You will receive an email explaining the query and refund details.
If payment is not authorised by your bank or card issuer, you will receive email notification.
WILL I GET A RECEIPT?
You will be sent an email receipt when payment has been taken.
